Dennis Beatrice
Vice President, Policy Division
Dennis Beatrice leads SRI's Policy Division,
which helps government, nonprofit and commercial
clients solve problems and capitalize on opportunities posed by
complex issues in education,
health, economic development, and human services.
Prior to joining SRI in 1999, Beatrice spent four years as Management
Professor and Director of Policy for
the Institute for Health Policy at the Heller School of Brandeis
University. His research areas
included foundation programs and practices, state health policy,
services and programs for persons
with disabilities, and implementation of public programs.
Previously, Beatrice was Vice President of the Henry J. Kaiser Family
Foundation, one of
the most active private philanthropies in the health care
field. Beatrice designed and directed
the Government and Health program, which applied the resources of the
foundation to make government
more responsive to the needs of the American people.
Beatrice has authored or co-authored more than 30 publications related
to health issues.
He holds a B.A. in political science from Boston College and an MPA
from the John F. Kennedy School
of Government at Harvard University.
