Bioanalytical Services

Our laboratories and scientists are skilled in method development and validation for analysis of drugs and metabolites in biological matrices, using advanced techniques. We can conduct these analyses under GLP guidelines, as needed.

• Quantitative analysis of both small molecules and biological products
• Characterization and identification of metabolites from in vitro and in vivo samples, using LC-MS/MS, GC-MS and NMR
• High throughput LC-MS analysis of samples from screening assays, e.g. Caco-2 cell absorption and in vitro metabolism studies
• Determination of radioactivity in tissue and excreta
• Method development and validation

Our LC-MS/MS facilities include triple quad LC-MS/MS from Micromass (Quattro Ultima) with ES and APCI ionization, and ion traps from Finnigan (LCQ). Automated solid phase extraction systems are also available to increase the throughput of the analyses.
